{"id":833,"date":"2012-06-29T12:24:12","date_gmt":"2012-06-29T16:24:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nightwire.net\/?page_id=833"},"modified":"2012-06-29T12:24:12","modified_gmt":"2012-06-29T16:24:12","slug":"full-pint-brewing","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.nightwire.net\/?page_id=833","title":{"rendered":"Full Pint Brewing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Full Pint Brewing is the regions newest craft brewery.\u00a0 They are located in North Versailles and currently have 8 craft beers available.\u00a0 They are open Monday thru Saturday 5 pm \u2013 9 pm.\u00a0 You can take a brewery tour and sit in their sampling room and sample their latest brews.\u00a0 Best of all you can take home a mix and match six pack, a case of your favorite or have them fill your growler.\u00a0 This brewery is definitely worth the trip and their beers are amazing and becoming extremely popular.<\/p>\n<p>They contribute their success to their team of\u00a0 partners which include Sean Hallisey, Barrett Goddard, Andrew Maxwell, Sean McIntyre and Mark Kegg. All but Kegg were former brewers at John Harvard&#8217;s Brew House, the Wilkins brewpub that closed in 2008. Combined, they have more than 50 years of brewing experience making them extremely knowledgeable and great brewers.<\/p>\n<p>Their newest brew, <strong>Rye Rebellion<\/strong> was a big hit with the Nightwire staff.\u00a0 Rye Rebellion Imperial Stout is a smooth roasty stout aged in rye whiskey barrels.<\/p>\n<p>Full Pint brewery has the capacity to produce 11,000 barrels a year. In comparison, Penn Brewery, a North Side brewpub, has the capacity to produce 30,000 barrels annually, while East End Brewing Co., a microbrewery in East Liberty, can only produce 3,000 barrels a year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tri-P.A<\/strong> .\u2013 This Imperial IPA was triple-batched, using a different hop and crystal malt in each batch.\u00a0 They then dry-hopped it with the same three hops during fermentation. The end result is an intensely hoppy, high gravity beer with caramel undertones.<\/p>\n<p><strong>All In Amber<\/strong> \u2013 Five brewers went \u201cAll In\u201d to form Full Pint Brewing Company.\u00a0 Their first collaborative brew, All In Amber, is a nicely balanced drinkable beet that can be enjoyed year round.\u00a0 Cheers to you for enjoying their inaugural brew!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Perc E Bust<\/strong> \u2013 This Robust Porter was brewed with percolated Guatemalan coffee from the Commonplace Coffee Company in Squirrel Hill, PA.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chinookie\u00a0 IPA<\/strong> \u2013 They hit this full bodied IPA with \u201cnookie\u201d four times during the brewing process to give this ale its trademark Chinook hop character.\u00a0 Then then \u201cdry nookied\u201d this flavourful ale to further enhance its grapefruit and pine aroma.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hobnobber <\/strong>\u2013 Be it Columbus or Tettnag, the Hobnobbler never discriminates.\u00a0 This daring single hopped session ale keeps the same malt bill but changes the hop venue every time they brew it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rumpelpilsner<\/strong> \u2013 As legend tells it&#8230;.Rumpelstiltzkin spun straw into gold.\u00a0 Rumpelpilsen spins malt and hops into a liquid gold creating a brew of mythological proportions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>White Lightning<\/strong> \u2013 is a Belgian-Style White Ale which combines a complex malt\u00a0\u00a0 character with sweet orange peel, coriander and grains of paradise.\u00a0 The end result is a shockingly refreshing wheat beer that can be enjoyed all year long.<\/p>\n<p>In March, Full Pint Brewing is planning on expanding their brew pub to include pizza and many other food items to compliment their brews. So gather your friends and head on out, Full Pint Brewing is just a short drive from Pittsburgh and most definitely worth the trip.. see you there!!
