Here at the Interactive Aquarium you can swim with the Dolphins in the new interactive dolphin water arena, complete with spectator area for friends and family.  Nightwire had the opportunity to swim with the dolphins, this truly was one of the most enjoyable and most unforgettable experiences of our life.  It is absolutely amazing being able to touch and play games with one of natures most intelligent animals, – the dolphin. We got to experience shaking hands, well our hands, their fins, a dolphin kiss, and most exciting of all a dolphin foot push.  You know the kind you probably have seen at Sea World, where the dolphin dives under the performer (only you’ll be that performer) and pushes them up out of the water sending them flying into mid air… it was the best experience of my life.  The entire staff was so thrilled we couldn’t stop talking about it.  This is something you have to we say…. “just do it!”

At the Interactive Aquarium you will also see fascinating exhibits of marine life from the tidal pools to the deep ocean. You will get to see rarities such as seahorses, barracudas, tiger and bull sharks. Children can touch creatures of the sea. One of the few places in the world where you can see a Tiger Shark, one of the most dangerous sharks in the sea, is in the Shark Tank at the Interactive Aquarium. Also you will encounter two 8 foot Bull Sharks, known to be man-eaters, and various other types of sharks. One of the most unique sites in all of Cancun.
